A lovely, fruity, juicy, summer scent. SO different from what the high end designers offer. Cherry lollipop and cherry lemonade. That being said, even with multiple sprays, my nose has to literally touch my wrist to smell the fragrance. Its the same issue I have with Valentino's Donna - a great fragrance with an annoying amount of almond that just overwhelms the other notes. At first my gut feeling told me to not blind buy it but I was too stubborn so I did anyways, when it arrived I was expecting something so different, the top notes of sour cherry and cassis make it smell like the cherries are spoiled, at first I felt so disappointed, then that smell goes away really fast, and then it becomes a very sweet powdery sour cherry almond scent its not bad, not what I was expecting but its not bad, I think this is a very girly and young scent, Ill have to test it more, I do think its a unique scent Ive never smelled something like this before, I think this cherry resembles a little bit of the cherry in Guerlain petite noir (these both perfumes dont smell the same but the cherry note is similar ) its not a sweet cherry, its a sour acid cherry that gives an edge to the perfume, the almond and vanilla make it super sweet so the sourness its unnoticeable, other than the very weird opening that thankfully fades away within 5 seconds, I think this scent is flirty and pretty I like it! Smells amazing to me. Shockingly, I really liked this! Whats with the little gold robots ??? Smells like plastic and is not nice at all. But then the drydown happened and it was divine. I dont get what all the objections to this darling is about. The vanilla and rose lend to a cosmetic vibe on the dry down, but not in a vintage powder on the vanity way. I have full-size bottle of this that I got last year and is about 99% full. I wanted a darker cherry Like Lolita Lempika & La petite robe noire. It dries down to a gentler, tamer mix of red berries, yet it is still surprisingly natural. I am selling or swapping my 80ml if anyone is interested. I had a sample of the original Prada candy I had worn in the winter and my husband loved it. It's not a love because the initial spray and first 15 minutes is a very sharp sour cherry and chemical scent (probably due to the cassis note). Its barely a small blip before the heart opens up. I was waiting to try this on out as I am a big fan of the original Candy. To me, I get whiffs of my mother's VO5 hairspray, her ban roll-on antiperspirant and baby powder. Fades very quickly so I dont think Ill repurchase. The dry down is very sensual in my opinion. Yes it's expensive, but it's worth it. It was a blind buy for me and I'm very disappointed, no wonder you can find it so cheap. Like all Prada perfumes, this one is also quite weak and has small silage. It's a good scent for a young lady becoming a woman (17-24) or grown women with a case of arrested development such as myself. Mildly flavored like lipsmackers. Prada Candy Gloss is an Eau de Toilette so it makes sense why the staying power isnt there. I so wanted to love this, but it actually nauseates me due to the intense cherry top note mixing with the almond. Projection is moderate and longevity on my skin about 10 hours.I'll definitely buy it. Quite artificial and juvenile but well blended and easy to wear for day time. But I am glad to have it in my collection. Tested this one last night. Starts off with a sour slightly sharp cherry note almost cough droppy like..The Cherry note does fade after a while & what you're left with is a semi sweet almond-vanilla gourmand. If youre looking for a sweet feminine with heavy vanilla base then this is for you. but that's another story. But here in Prada candy gloss it starts off with a very fruity guava pink grapefruit smell. On initial spray I can smell the sour cherry and this hangs around on me for about an hour or so, and then it settles down into a sweet vanilla almond that i absolutely adore. It smells more expensive than it is. I smelled cherries, peaches and roses at first but once it dried down all I could smell was musk and almonds. I'm really enjoying the scent it's fun it's flirty and it's different from a lot of other scents that I have the only problem might be the sillage and longevity I can still smell it but I've only been wearing it for the past hour. I'm not sure it's a love but it's a solid like. I couldnt figure out what this smelled like until I read the comments cause it isnt cherry at all . It's a complete deviation from the other two that I mentioned. Its youthful but Prada quality is there. A few hours later i was sitting next to someone and thought it was her who smelt so divine but she wasnt wearing any fragrance and i figured out it was this! I always get compliments from other women when I wear it. Has a lipstick vibe, which I love. Reminds me of early 2000's it-girls with cherry lipgloss and heart shaped sunglasses. However it's a fragance very wearable although i wouldn't recommend it in summer day as it tend a little heavy, in general i think it's a great and dovelike fragance if you like sweet and sugared scents. I will go for a more mature choice. I sprayed it on me at 6pm, its now 6am the next morning and I can still smell it. One of the few cherries I have actually enjoyed and my favorite of the Candy line. I wear it almost daily. However I revisited it recently and now I am really liking it. It's unique and elegant and totally scrumptious. Would definitely wear in the colder months. Prada Candy Gloss was my first real introduction to fruity scents and I fell in love. Quite a light, not offensive. Unlike other reviews I get zero cherries on my skin. Longevity, an hour at most. if only that cherry top note lasted a little longer! The dry down is fruity and soft, not too sweet nor childish. On the contrary, it's delicious, mouth-watering juice. )as a loyal fan of Prada candy line I decided to order gloss and give it more time.I'm so happy with myself for such a good decision. This smells like sour gummy worms! I thought I would like the notes listed. Smells just like a mix of cherry candy and lipgloss! Candy Gloss is the third fragrance from the line that I have tried and the third one I have loved. It's smooth and after a short dry down linear, undeniably glossy. But I thought its only the roller ball, Ill keep it and give it a try. I bought a sample of this on ebay, and it arrived today. My experience with Candy Gloss is nearly identical to the reviewer's below. Love the bottle! Im into fresh, and aquatic scents so this is way off for the hat I enjoy. I was expecting something heavier based on the notes but Prada managed to make a lovely light perfume. Sour, I guess, is the correct word. I do not get the cough syrup vibe at all from this perfume. I had to have it. I guess I just don't like cherry in such an intensive presentation because I have the same gag reflex with Escada Cherries in the Air, though that one is more tolerable to me. It doesn't last more than 4 h. I love lipstick scents, and this has a cherry chapstick vibe thats a little flirty but still daytime appropriate. Minty green note at first that disappears quickly. The sour cherry note is strong, to say the least. I thought I would with the cherry/almond notes and since I love gourmands, but this one fell flat. the dry down ends up smelling exactly like mmmm by juliette has a gun to me. Tropical sweet heavenly fun fragrance a fantastic mood lifter! Green at first spray and then settles into a pleasant sweetness and lasts for several hours. They weren't the longest lasting, but didn't leave anything to be desired. Then I smell something almost like the inside of a raw green pepper without the heat. a fun playful flirty girly scentit totally fits its name "candy" "gloss" smells like a tangy sweet candy thats sparkly shiny & fun love this scent :). I get the same vibe of la petite robe noir by Guerlain!!! The bottle's color is so well done, suits the "gloss" lipstick theme. Normally I do not wear gourmand scents. Ive been looking for a new gourmand to wear, something feminine and sweet and new. Im a cherry lover (also love almond) but hated Escada's Cherry in the Air, plastic, synthetic, i had wished it was like this one, it wasnt! It warms up really well with body heat and is long-lasting, and draws compliments. I love Candy and thought I'd try Candy Gloss. Absolutely adore it. Just a mature whisper of a scent, that lingered on my wrists for around six hours. I have Estee lauder's la Rouge gloss and in my opinion that actually smells like Vaseline Cherry scented lip gloss and it's thick and it's waxy and I love the vinyl note . Soft powdery almond meets sour cherry. I like it but its not what I was looking for. This is a very summery very sweet perfume and is my personal favourite of the entire prada candy collection. Reminds me of Estee Lauder Modern Muse Le Rouge, but definitely way weaker that EL. Im surprised by the notes, this is a guava bomb to me! I can't get over how similar the smell is. Not sure what I'm doing differently but this actually has great longevity for me, 6+ hours. Oh my gosh. This is a very nice fruity scent, my favorite of the Candy line. I just bought this delectable perfume and did a happy dance! I sprayed it all over myself at Ulta and then had a woman in line smell my wrist. So I kind of like this. Its so purely cherry with a hint of vanilla and orange blossom, its absolutely gorgeous and so underrated. Im not mad about that though its definitely not what I was expecting. The dry down truly is all about candy, but the opening is a bit like walking past a nail salon that projects strong nail polish remover. It doesn't scream adult but with its beautiful Prada packaging it seems like a perfect coming of age gift. For the first one hour its so flirty and sweet, and then it mellows down. Just say it was a bad blind buy. I try to give every fragrance a chance because they sit differently on everyone and they can change several times during your time wearing it, but this never made it any where even remotely close to being nice. it smells like you went out to lunch and got a frozen cherry limeade and had a sweet almond vanilla biscotti and vanilla ice cream. Longevity is moderate, 6 hours later it's a very soft skin scent. As a woman of a certain age (make it capital W), I didnt think I would like this. I don't get the cherry at all. Not very long lasting, but that is expected with an eau de toilette. Sweet cherries. But you should definitely try this one!! I often catch small whiffs of it throughout the day. Personally I don't want to smell like a Bakewell tart :D. Just received a sealed promotion sample. I think I still like TF lost cherry better having tested it out a few times. I think the only other scent I can think of that does this kind of thing is Montale Mukhallat, and that one is hella strong strawberry doll head / eraser, and harder for me to wear, though it's a weird and good scent. Perhaps cherry cough drops or cough syrup type scents sounds like a nightmare to some but I, for one, love perfumes with a realistic-artificial cherry candy note. They smell great but have no sillage on me. Its sweet but not a sugar sweet more like fresh cherries sweet. I almost wrote it off at that point thinking it was too simple in too young but after 5 minutes the same thick Vaseline Lip Gloss scent comes out it starts to feel more oily and some of that tart fruit dies down and it becomes smoother thicker and more rounded. I couldnt help it. Unlike other cherry perfumes, this doesnt smell thick or syrupy. It reminds me of dolls that I wanted as a kid, but was not allowed to buy. since i already have that, i feel like i dont need candy gloss. I remember smelling it when it first came out and wasn't particularly impressed. I had this fragance and i loved it because it's sweet , sexy and it's a perfume with compliments because wherever you're somebody will feel it but i don't like its durability, it's from 1 or 2 hours maybe 3 hours max. Almond,Cherry,Benzoin,Orange blossom and Musk = that's heaven to me. Otherwise, if you love citrus/sour scents that lean toward gourmand, Lush perfumes or Sol the Janeiro, I feel like you would love this. Has yet to get the chance to compare it to Zara or TF, but on its own I do like it a lot. An unexpected love for me. Its making me laugh a little, not gonna lie . This is a very sexy fragrance on the right person and playful and cute on others. Plus, it's got a cute bottle. It's available on Sephora website. Make you want to drink and bath in it both. It kind of smells like TF lost cherry but not as mature or spicy as that one. I don't mind, if I can wear my loves without smelling them on everyone else that is a huge bonus! I feel like Viva La Juicy is a similar smell but it's much more distinctive. Lovestruck is more for daytime in warmer seasons and poison girl is more for nighttime in cooler seasons. There is a lovely floral overtone with almond musk into the dry down- heavenly. Not so great person scent . I had tested it previously on a tester strip and found it to be very strong artificial cherry. I like it way more than I thought I would--easy wearing. This is my everyday scent and I get compliments every time I wear it. Its definitely a cherry scent BUT Im picking up some grape fruit in the mix I know its not listed but I can smell it . Not the nasty ones, but the good ones that were highly coveted. It is sweet but not in a fruity or gourmand way. Definitely agree that it's a scent for a young woman letting go and enjoying herself. A body spray is even stronger than this. It's as if someone made a honeyed-up version of the powdery, dime store Lutece of yesteryear, or the more recent Muse de Rochas. And then eventually settles into a fruity-floral skin scent. I wore the original for the better part of a year, but eventually it's particular caramel signature began to make me nauseous. Definitely my favorite out of the Prada Candy line. And just FYI, the bottle is hefty. I got mine is a gift set. The cherry note is very intense. Well now poison girl is only almost half gone and lovestruck has a dent in it! This is a perfect first perfume for your daughter or niece though. It was a blind-buy so I was understandably nervous but after the first spray hit my body and I got a good whiff of it, I breathed a sigh of relief. I used it lavishly for 3 days straight before reading anything about it in order not to let my opinion unknowingly dictated beforehand. I also like this perfume because it's not a bitter almond like how Poison Girl is, Prada Candy Gloss is more creamy, I really just can't get enough! I wish I could say the same for this or any of their newer offerings.. Im not one to shy away from sweet fragrances but this settles bad on my skin. I have owned this for three days now and it is definitely a love! Candy Gloss invigorates you like fresh, homemade lemonade would during a very hot day. This is so nice! I would like to swap this for a Dior or Burberry or anything more agreeable to me. Its super fun, flirty, and cute. It smells like cherry and marzipan! So in conclusion, great car scent! It projects very well on me it lasts all day even longer on your clothes and in your hair too. Its funny because I hate the original, although I always wanted to like it, cute bottle, amazing notes, but it just smelled bad on me must be why it took me so long to discover this awesomeness. I could barely smell it, and what I could detect smelled like faint watermelon jolly ranchers (and not even sweet enough). I unexpectedly love this - it's very youthful, but not immature. Massive blast of cherryade initially then cherry and marzipan, then just marzipan. These bottom notes are almost identical to the original Candy, but less intense. Upon first spray, I didn't think I would like it because it was just so odd a scent, but I let it sit for a few minutes, and now I'm intrigued by the scent. Then it's gets to this almond and to me it feels cozy and warm and safe in a way. I'm a fan of the original Prada Candy, and huge fan of Black Opium. Oh, man, this is a stunner. My favorites were from the original Infusions line. I lost all my rationality. I reapply once later in the day. Also more powdery vanilla glosses that I wear currently. Not exclusively, but I often gravitate towards them and they don't automatically evoke teenage or childlike for me, like they do for others. Not a fan of the original Candy, but this one Ill def buy. I blind bought this fragrance with the original Prada Candy. Smells like Cherry Skittles mixed with the smell of sweet roses, vanilla and almonds! It is a burst of sunshine from the get-go. I love the sweet cherry opening notes, almost like a cherry candy. very interesting indeed! I like this. The opening is actually gross to me, it gets better as it dries down, but not enough to save it. This is A lot different than what I imagined or expected. No synthetic notes for my nose, no strawberry either. The dry down is beautiful with hints of musk mixing seamlessly with vanilla and almond; cherry goodness, cassis, and fruity floral keeping the scent alive, happy, and present for hours. My signature scent. Definitely super sweet, when you first spray it, it has a very sour and bitter cherry which to my nose smells like the cherry is spoiled at first, but after maybe a minute this fragrance becomes more and more sweet, becoming a sweet sugary cherry with a hint of a sweet almond note, is one of those fragrances that it gets prettier and prettier as it dries dow, the base notes and the middle notes are amazing, could easily be a signature scent, longevity is good last on my skin for more than 7 hours, sillage is also good, if you are looking for a sweet cherry scent this is perfect very youthful warm and flirty, I never wrote a review before but this scent is so good I have to! Also, it's quite affordable for a designer perfume if you go on discount websites! Sticky sweet candy cherry smell that I'd expect from Vandini body splash which is used by a teen girl. My boyfriend also said it smells fantastic and suits me. Plain awful! This is pretty and I'm all for the sweetie type scents but I just don't think this candy is for me. I thought I hated almond notes, but this scent just showed that I only dislike them when they become powder bombs. First 10 minutes, I barely get any cherry, just a fizzy fruity juice, more citrusy/peachy than anything else (I would even say I smell sour rhubarb!)! Not sure, but smells exactly like jam. Sadly the longevity is like 3 hours. Layers beautifully with Lolita Lempicka, which adds on more cherry and some licorice to complement the powdery notes. Candy Gloss smells like the pyramid of notes, and yet not really at all. However, projection is very bad, at first spray, just a blast of guava, the dry down is about the same as original candy, with a hint of cherries. One downfall would be the lasting power which is average. Im quite a fan of the Florale but its too intense floral to me. Heads up! I like what I smell and never been fond of caramel anyway. This is such a happy, cheerful and flirty perfume (thanks to the cherry). I won't be purchasing anymore after this vial is finished. i was pleasantly surprised. It also is very weak as far as performance. I absolutely love Prada fragrances, Infusion d'Iris is my all time fave, but this is just horrible. Mid notes are powdery and borderline overwhelming, also similar to the ones found in Delices. Alot. its like fizzy cherry and vanilla ice cream. This is so, so beautiful. Lovely cherry scent after an hour or two. in the heat i feel very juvenile when i put it on, as if the noted cherry comes off as bubble gum grape. If you pay attention, it does slightly have a nice cake/ freshly baked bread smell to it. I don't like this one. Not a review. I feel like that sour cherry note is very subtle so its barely there. This is a much lighter perfume but still feels warm. Even for a toilette, the silage is a joke. I adore this scent for special evenings out. For some reason to me this smells like cherry tobacco my grandpa used to smoke. I enjoy wearing Prada Candy gloss. When I sprayed this for the first time I couldnt decide if I like it or not. I like it. I didn't expect to like this but I love it and it's so unique. Such a beautiful and not overly sweet cherry. if that's a fear of yours don't worry because it's all juice. If I could remove the almond it would be a real winner. It's one of my favorites. I swear this is exactly what it smells like and some flowers in a vase . This is Better than the Givenchy Live Irresistible Delicious better than Poison Girl, trust me you want Prada Candy Gloss, I have been waiting for something like this for a long time, since I love Half n Half this is just perfect. I use it as a bedtime perfume. It smelled intriguing when first sprayed, but it got old and overwhelming very quickly. A Very nostalgic scent for me! This opens with a punch of sour cherry - delectable and fragrant and super noticeable, but the sour of the cherry is somehow balanced by a sweetness. I wear clean fragrances like Clinique Happy. Heck! The notes sound terrific and they should have it in the bag with this one. I can't stop sniffing my hand. Sort of like the sour cherries you can buy in mason jars. The opening has a certain sharpness that was bothering me. I enjoy this fragrance purely for nostalgic purposes. It's an easy going year round anytime perfume. This is a really nice scent. It remains on my clothes for days, giving playful, light, happy, reminders of its presence whenever I move, or whenever a soft breeze carries the scent to my nose - sweet, but more in a baked goods sort of way, rather than an immature candy way. Like remarkably the same. Personally I love sweet perfumes, but me being goth would not be able to pull this off.
